Juan Carlos Cruz (art director and animation director) studied Architecture at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He has worked with different animation techniques such as claymotion, traditional and Flash animation. He made his animation debut working for the Euro currency campaign in Spain. This was one of the biggest claymotion animations that has ever been created and produced in this country. Later he worked as direction assistant, designer and animator for Damian Perera Producciones. He joined as partner of Machango Studio in 2007; where he has worked as art director and animation director
